Deborah is a fully qualified sport and remedial massage therapist and a graduate of the prestigious London School of Sports Massage with a BTEC Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage.

She is a full member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage www.theisrm.com and the Sports Massage Association www.sportsmassageassociation.org. As members of these professional organisations, Deborah is required to regularly attend seminars and tutorial to help keep her knowledge and practical skills current with the latest developments.

Deborah has patients at the Redgrave Clinic www.redgraveclinic.co.uk, in Bourne End where the Clinical Director is Dr Lady Ann Redgrave. Deborah works there once a week treating elite and recreational athletes, as well as people who have pain from poor posture and from every day living.

Deborah is the Sports Massage Therapist to Henley Rowing Club www.henley.rowing.org.uk where she treats the athletes throughout the year. Her main task is injury prevention treatment but she also prepares competitors for races by providing both pre and post event massage.

Appointments can be made for treatment at the The Lifestyle Centre located at Henley Management College and at Woodford Park Leisure Centre located in Woodley, Reading.

Deborah is a qualified member of the NLP Association (Neuro Linguistic Programming) www.anlp.org . As an NLP Practitioner, where appropriate, she uses NLP with her massage skills to counsel patients helping them to relax, overcome any anxiety they may be experiencing and to help them achieve their goals.

As a former county hockey player, accomplished horsewomen and cricket player, Deborah has a strong appreciation of the physical demands for sports performance. This keen knowledge is fundamental to Deborah’s holistic approach to sports and remedial massage and its ability to maintain an athlete’s fitness and well being as well as treat injuries.

Today, Deborah has retired from hockey and is a recreational runner and supports her family in their sporting interests which are rugby, horse riding and dance.
